How to Set Up Google Calendar & Appointments in TeleIQ

This guide will help you connect your Google Calendar and set up appointment booking so TeleIQ can schedule meetings automatically.

1Connect Your Google Calendar

  1. Go to AI Setup → Appointments (left navigation).
  2. Click "Connect".
  3. You will be redirected to Google.
  4. Sign in and grant permission to TeleIQ.

Once connected, TeleIQ can check your availability and book appointments automatically.

2Configure Appointment Settings

Set your availability schedule (working hours)

Define when you are available to take appointments.

  • Add multiple time ranges
  • Customize by day of the week
  • Remove unwanted time slots

Click "Add" to create availability windows.

Click "X" to remove a time slot.

Set up your services (e.g., Consultation, Demo)

Appointment Types

Create the types of appointments your customers can book

Click "Add" to create a new appointment type.

For Each Appointment Type:

  • 1
    Name

    Give your appointment a clear name customers will understand.

  • 2
    Appointment Length

    Set how long the appointment lasts.

  • 3
    Time Between Bookings (Buffer)

    Add extra time between appointments for preparation or breaks.

Capacity

Control how many appointments can be booked at the same time.

Maximum Simultaneous Bookings:

  • 1 (default): One-on-one meetings
  • 2 or more: Allow multiple bookings at the same time

Example: Increase capacity if you run group sessions or have multiple staff.

TimeZone

Set your local timezone to ensure accurate scheduling. All bookings will follow this timezone to avoid conflicts.

3Test Appointment Booking

Start a test call (browser or phone) and ask the AI to book an appointment.

Click at Live Test from the left Navigation

Important Notes

  • Make sure your Google Calendar is not empty or blocked.
  • TeleIQ will only book within your defined availability.
  • If no availability is found, the AI will suggest alternatives.

Tips for Best Results

  • Use clear service names (e.g., "30-min Demo").
  • Keep availability realistic.
  • Test multiple scenarios (busy time, free time, etc.).
